Role Description The Phonics Teacher at WinQuest Online will deliver engaging, structured phonics lessons to students in a remote, online environment. This part-time role involves planning and teaching lessons that build students’ reading, decoding, and spelling skills through phonemic awareness activities and systematic phonics instruction.

The teacher will assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, conducting live or recorded sessions,



maintaining clear communication with learners and caregivers, and documenting attendance and performance. The role requires reliable technology access and the ability to teach effectively via online platforms.

Qualifications

- Ability to design and organize effective phonics lessons; strong skills in Lesson Planning and curriculum alignment.
- Background in Education with knowledge of literacy development and early reading methodologies.
- Strong Communication skills for clear, supportive interaction with students and caregivers in an online setting.
- Demonstrated Teaching and Training experience, preferably in phonics or early literacy instruction.
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and virtual classroom platforms.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to support diverse learning styles.
- Relevant certification or degree in Education, Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or related field is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching children in an online or blended learning environment is an advantage.
