About The Role

As Aspire scales rapidly across Southeast Asia, keeping regulatory compliance strong and financial crime risk in check across our growing customer base is critical. This role exists to make sure customer accounts are periodically reviewed in line with AML/CFT requirements, while proactively identifying emerging risks and maintaining the integrity of Aspire's financial ecosystem. You'll balance compliance excellence with operational efficiency by driving high-quality reviews, supporting risk mitigation, and contributing to continuous process improvements within the team.

What You'll Own

- Conduct comprehensive periodic reviews of customer accounts, including transactional analysis, customer profiling, and risk assessments
- Identify, investigate,



and document potential AML/CFT or compliance risks, escalating complex or high-risk cases where required
- Collaborate with KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and other internal stakeholders to obtain and validate customer information and supporting documentation
- Prepare clear and detailed case narratives, review summaries, and risk recommendations in line with internal and regulatory standards
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying operational gaps and contributing to enhancements in review methodologies and workflows

What You Need To Be Successful

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the same role
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills, with sound judgement on when to escalate
- Ability to write clear, well-documented case narratives and review summaries under SLA pressure
- Comfortable collaborating across teams (KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Compliance) to validate information and drive reviews to closure
- Detail-oriented and process-minded, with an eye for gaps and opportunities to improve how the team works
- Has a strong grasp of artificial intelligence concepts and the ability to apply AI tools (e.g. Claude, n8n, etc.) and frameworks to solve real-world problems at Aspire
