Job Summary

As a, VPC In- charge you are fully responsible for planning, controlling and increasing efficiency of all VPC activities at dealership. In this function, you ensure that the dealerships strategic and operational goals are met as well as MB India policy & guidelines are implemented & followed rigorously. When it comes to VPC function, you are the reliable and transparent interface between Sales Administrators, Workshop administrators, Workshop colleagues and MB India.

With your expert knowledge, technical competency and excellent communication skills you promote the brand and product image and hence contribute to the economic success of the organization.

- You possess good English & Hindi language proficiency skills to intract with Transporters/ Car Carrier operators.

- You have good knowledge of Office appliances (e-mail programs, e.g. MS Office, the Internet, ebusiness, etc.)
- You have an expert knowledge of current Sales & After-Sales IT tools and are able to use these (e.g.

e-Dealer, dealer specific program etc.)

Tasks

VPC Operations

- Receiving of the Vehicles in line with Sales Plan as per the Systems led down by MB India
- Co-ordination of VPC – wholesale and Transporters for Logistics for tracking of the ordered vehicles

Ensuring that Receipt operation is trouble free and Car carrier is made free in fastest possible time.
- Confirming Vehicle status and formal receipt process with transporters.
- Maintenance of Stock – Legal & Commercial Requirements ( Perpetual Inventory )
- Maintenance of Stock – Technical & system requirements( VPC checks )
- Dispatch / Handover of the Car , billed to Customer via PDI




- Co –ordination with Dealer Administration & Facility Department for Maintenance & upkeep of VPC site, statutory requirements and support agency functions

Documentation of VPC

- DAN & GIN of the receipt Vehicles, documentation in the system.

Documentation & system updates on VPC checks for stock cars.
- Coordination with Insurance Agency & Workshop for Non AFS cars
- Maintaining proper record of all VPC documents and producing as and when required.

Liaising with MB India

- Ensuring that VPC issues are reported timely to MB India, especially close watch in Non AFS vehicles

Co-ordination with Transporters & Insurance agency for repairs keeping MB India in Loop .
- Submission of repair claims to MB India/ Insurance Agency within the specified time limit.
- Re-conciliation of Insurance claims within the specified time limit.

Requirements

Qualification

Education

Diploma in Engineering/ Graduate in any discipline.

Training

- Initial training in Mercedes-Benz specific to VPC operation.
- Participation in VPC trainings conducted by MB India. (Basic & Advanced Modules )

Experience

- Experience with Mercedes-Benz product range
- Practical experience of working Mass or Luxury Market for 3 to 5 years in the same field.
