Paint Shop Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities

Production: Achieve daily production targets and delivery schedules.

Manpower: Allocate, supervise, and train operators effectively.

Process Control: Control surface preparation, mixing, spraying, flash-off, and curing.

Quality: Ensure DFT, adhesion, appearance, color, and customer specifications are met.

Paint Management: Control paint/chemical consumption, mixing ratios, batch traceability, and wastage.

Equipment: Monitor paint booths, spray guns, pumps, ovens, compressors, exhaust, and filters.

Safety: Enforce PPE, chemical handling, fire safety, ventilation, and EHS requirements.

Documentation: Maintain production, process, inspection, rework, and traceability records.

Continuous Improvement:



Reduce defects, rework, scrap, downtime, cycle time, and paint consumption.

Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Planning, and EHS and report KPIs to management.

Education

- Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:
- Painting shop supervisor : 4 years (Preferred)
