Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced TOEFL Trainer to prepare students for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT).
The trainer will be responsible for teaching all four sections — Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing — and helping students achieve competitive scores for university admissions abroad.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. TOEFL iBT Teaching
Deliver structured training for:
Reading (academic passages & question strategies)
Listening (note-taking & comprehension skills)
Speaking (independent & integrated tasks)
Writing (independent & integrated essays)
Teach test-taking strategies and time management.
Provide grammar and vocabulary enhancement sessions.
Train students in academic English and formal writing style.

B. Practice & Assessment
Conduct:
Full-length mock tests
Section-wise practice sessions
Timed drills
Evaluate Speaking and Writing tasks using official TOEFL rubrics.
Provide personalized feedback and improvement plans.

C. Student Mentorship
Guide students on:




Score targets based on university requirements
Study schedules and practice methods
Confidence-building for speaking section
Conduct one-on-one doubt-clearing sessions.

D. Content Development
Prepare:
Practice worksheets
Vocabulary lists
Sample essays and speaking responses
Strategy guides
Update content based on ETS guidelines and latest TOEFL format changes.

E. Administrative & Support Responsibilities
Maintain student performance records.
Assist with demo classes, seminars, and promotional workshops.
Coordinate with study abroad counsellors (if applicable).
Skills & Competencies Required
Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
Solid understanding of TOEFL iBT format and scoring criteria.
Ability to train students for 90-110+ score targets.
Explicit and confident communication skills.
Patient, student-focused teaching approach.
