Job description for Trainee

Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to casino guests, greeting them with a warm and friendly welcome.
Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures.
Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for.
Monitor and identify counterfeit bills and fraudulent activity, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Adhere to all casino policies and procedures, including those related to responsible gaming and anti-money laundering regulations.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cashier's cage area.
Learn and develop skills in operating casino management software, handling large sums of money, and performing accounting procedures.
Attend training and development sessions as required, to develop skills and knowledge required for the role.
Collaborate with other departments,



including security and surveillance, to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Cashier Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in cash handling and customer service, preferably in a casino or hospitality setting.
Good mathematical skills, with the ability to accurately count and process large sums of money.
Good attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work in a team workplace, collaborating effectively with other departments.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and casino management software.
Must be available to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
