Dispensing & Review: Accurately interpret, verify, and fill prescriptions, checking for correct dosages, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Patient Counseling: Advise patients on how to take medication properly, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
Clinical Collaboration: Work with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication regimens.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of, and manage, stock levels for pharmaceuticals and supplies.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and maintain a clean, protected, and organized pharmacy setting.
Clinical Services: Administer vaccines, perform health screenings (e.g., blood pressure), and recommend over-the-counter (OTC) products. Betterteam +7
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid state license to practice pharmacy.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy software systems for managing patient records and insurance.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interact with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in dispensing and reviewing complex prescriptions. Workable +5
