Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
Attend and rectify breakdowns to minimize machine downtime.
Install, dismantle, align, and assemble mechanical parts and machinery.
Carry out repair work on gearboxes, pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, bearings, and shafts.
Ensure proper lubrication of machines as per maintenance schedules.
Read and understand mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and breakdown reports.
Follow safety procedures and use PPE during all maintenance activities.
Coordinate with production and electrical maintenance teams for smooth operations.
Ensure proper housekeeping in the maintenance area.
Support improvement activities to enhance machine efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
Robust knowledge of mechanical maintenance.
Experience in handling hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Knowledge of bearings, belts, chains, couplings, and hydraulics/pneumatics (basic).
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults effectively.
Positive teamwork and communication skills.
