Job Description - Quality Controller / QA-QC Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspections for civil, structural, finishing, waterproofing, and MEP works at construction sites.
Prepare, maintain, and monitor various QA/QC checklists, inspection reports, and quality documents.
Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and company quality standards.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, site engineers, and project managers for quality approvals and rectification works.
Monitor site activities and identify non-conformance issues (NCR) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Carry out material inspections and verify quality of incoming materials before usage at site.
Maintain proper documentation of testing reports, method statements, quality records, and site observations.
Conduct regular site audits and quality review meetings.




Guide junior engineers and site staff regarding quality procedures and best construction practices.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project quality requirements.
Handle customer quality complaints and provide effective resolutions when required.
Lead the QA/QC department effectively for senior/head level positions and maintain overall project quality performance.

Requirements:
Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in QA/QC works in construction industry.
Experience in handling residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects preferred.
Solid knowledge in construction materials, testing procedures, and quality standards.
Ability to handle multiple QC checklists and documentation independently.
Positive commanding power and leadership skills to manage site teams and subcontractors.
Robust communication and coordination skills.
