Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consultant – Core HR, Absence & OTL Experience: 7–10 Years Location: Hyderabad Work Mode: Work From Office – 5 Days Employment Type: Full time About the Role We are hiring an Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Core HR, Absence Management, and Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) to support a large-scale Oracle Cloud HCM implementation for a MEA customer. The consultant will work from our Hyderabad offshore delivery center and collaborate closely with onsite SMEs and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities - Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion HCM functional solutions.

- Configure and support Oracle Fusion Core HR, Absence Management, and OTL modules.
- Configure enterprise structures including: Legal Entities, Business Units, Departments, Positions, Grades, and Workforce Structures - Configure and support employee lifecycle processes across Core HR.
- Configure Absence Management, including: Absence Plans, Accruals, Eligibility Profiles, Absence Types and Approval Workflows - Configure Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), including: Time Entry Layouts, Time Calculation Rules, Time Consumer Setups, Time Processing Profiles, Time Approval Workflows and Time Card Validation Rules - Perform SIT, UAT, defect analysis, resolution, and functional testing.
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scenarios, and user support materials.
- Provide implementation and production support from an offshore delivery model.




- Coordinate with onsite SMEs, business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Support integrations between OTL and Core HR, Absence, Payroll, and Project Time.
- Participate in requirement workshops, solution discussions, and stakeholder meetings.

Mandatory

Requirements - 7–10 years of overall experience in Oracle HCM.

- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
- Strong functional expertise in:
- Core HR
- Absence Management
- Oracle Time and Labor (OTL)
- Experience in at least 1–2 Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion configuration, testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Strong knowledge of Workforce Structures and Employee Lifecycle processes.
- Strong hands-on experience with Absence Plans, Accruals, Eligibility Profiles, and Approval Workflows.
- Strong OTL experience covering Time Entry, Time Cards, Time Calculation Rules, Time Processing Profiles, and Time Approval.
- Experience working with offshore/onsite delivery models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently handle functional configuration and testing activities.

Preferred Skills - Experience integrating OTL with Core HR, Absence, Payroll, and Project Time.

- Experience working on large-scale Oracle Cloud HCM implementations.
- MEA region implementation/support experience.
- Experience in SIT/UAT coordination and production support.
