Role SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Oracle Banking Microservices (OBMA) Technical / Techno-Functional Consultant / Technical Lead with 7–10 years of overall experience and robust hands-on exposure to the implementation, customization, integration and support of Oracle Banking Microservices suite of products.

The candidate should have implementation experience in one or more Oracle Banking Microservices products such as:

Oracle Banking Onboarding (OBO), Oracle Banking Corporate Lending Process Management (OBCLPM), Oracle Banking Trade Finance Process Management (OBTFPM), Oracle Banking Supply Chain Finance (OBSCF), Oracle Banking Cash Management (OBCM) and other OBMA/process-management products.

The candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of the OBMA technology framework, Oracle Banking Extensibility, integration architecture and underlying banking concepts, and should be capable of independently owning the technical implementation of at least one OBMA product/workstream.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible for the complete technical implementation lifecycle of one or more Oracle Banking Microservices products, working closely with business, functional, integration, infrastructure and client IT teams.

Key responsibilities include

· Installation and configuration of OBMA suite of product

· Understand business and functional requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.

· Analyse requirements and classify them as Base Product functionality, Configuration, Extension/Customization, Integration or Product Gap.

· Perform fit-gap analysis jointly with functional consultants and business teams.

· Design appropriate solutions for identified gaps while maximizing the use of standard Oracle product capabilities.

· Develop solutions using Oracle Banking Extensibility Framework and recommended extension mechanisms, minimizing unnecessary changes to the base product.

· Perform configuration,



customization and technical implementation of OBMA-based applications.

· Design and develop integrations between OBMA products, Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking (FCUBS) and other internal/external banking systems.

· Work with REST APIs, web services, microservices and other integration mechanisms supported by the Oracle Banking ecosystem.

· Analyse existing APIs/services and determine whether requirements can be fulfilled through standard services or require extensions/new services.

· Perform database-level development and troubleshooting using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

· Support deployment, environment configuration and troubleshooting across Development, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production and Production environments.

· Perform technical debugging through application logs, service logs, database traces and API/interface analysis.

· Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, security testing, migration, cutover and production go-live activities.

· Perform root-cause analysis of application, integration and production issues and provide sustainable solutions.

· Prepare technical solution documents, interface specifications, customization documents, deployment documents and operational/support documentation.

· Review technical designs and code developed by team members and ensure adherence to Oracle-recommended architecture and development standards.

· Coordinate with Oracle Support/product teams for product defects, patches, clarifications and Service Requests where required.

· Mentor junior technical resources and provide technical leadership for the assigned OBMA workstream.

· Participate in client discussions and confidently explain technical solutions, constraints, dependencies and implementation approaches.

Mandatory Technical SkillsThe candidate should possess strong hands-on knowledge of:





· Oracle Banking Microservices Architecture (OBMA)

· Oracle Banking Extensibility / Extension Framework

· Java / J2EE

· Spring / Spring Boot and microservices concepts

· REST APIs and web services

· Oracle Database

· SQL and PL/SQL

· JSON/XML and interface development

· API integration and troubleshooting

· Application and service log analysis

· Deployment and environment troubleshooting

· Understanding of authentication, authorization and security concepts applicable to banking applications

Hands-on experience with the technical architecture and customization of at least one Oracle Banking Microservices product is mandatory.

Mandatory Oracle Banking / Functional KnowledgeThe candidate should have a working understanding of:

· Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking (FCUBS)

· Core banking concepts

· Customer and account concepts

· Basic banking accounting concepts, including debit/credit, GLs, accounting entries and transaction lifecycle

· Integration between Oracle Banking Microservices products and core banking systems The candidate should additionally possess functional/implementation knowledge of at least one of the following:

· Oracle Banking Onboarding (OBO)

· Oracle Banking Supply Chain Finance (OBSCF)

· Oracle Banking Cash Management (OBCM)

· Oracle Banking Corporate Lending Process Management (OBCLPM)

· Oracle Banking Trade Finance Process Management (OBTFPM)

Preferred / Added SkillsExperience in multiple Oracle Banking Microservices products will be a significant advantage, particularly:

· Oracle Banking Onboarding

· Oracle Banking Corporate Lending Process Management

· Oracle Banking Trade Finance Process Management

· Oracle Banking Supply Chain Finance

· Oracle Banking Cash Management

· Other Oracle Banking Process Management / OBMA-based products

Exposure to DevOps/CI-CD, containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, WebLogic, API gateways, monitoring tools and cloud deployment models would be advantageous.
