Location: Thane (C U Shah Centre for Deafblindness) OR South Mumbai.
Schedule: Monday to Saturday (with 2nd and 4th Saturdays off).
Salary: Commensurate with experience and at par with sector standards

Sense International India (Sense India) is looking for a passionate CBR Worker to join our team. Operating under the guidance of the Centre Manager, you will work directly in the field to support children and adults with deafblindness and multiple disabilities (Db/MD). This position is perfect for a proactive individual who wants to make a tangible, daily impact on families and communities.

Key Responsibilities
Field Work: Travel to the homes of deafblind children on a daily basis to provide direct support.
Community Identification: Conduct field surveys to identify children and adults with Db/MD who need assistance.
Family Support: Build strong relationships with families and guide them through getting their official Disability Certification.
Educational Support:



Work hand-in-hand with special educators to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for children.
Liaison Work: Coordinate with government hospitals for medical assessments and regular schools to support inclusive education.
Campaigns: Partner with the project team on local awareness campaigns and events.

Requirements:
Education: 12th pass minimum, and/or a diploma/certificate/foundation course in disability studies.
Experience: Preferably at least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with disabilities or deafblindness.
Core Values: Highly empathetic, self-motivated, problem-solving attitude, and completely comfortable working across diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

Pay: ₹10,358.91 - ₹47,269.90 per month
