Operations Manager – Quarry

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our quarry. The role is responsible for achieving production targets while ensuring safe operations, equipment efficiency, quality, cost control, and timely dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily quarry production, drilling, blasting, excavation, crushing, and stockpiling.
- Ensure production and dispatch targets are achieved efficiently.
- Supervise quarry staff, operators, drivers, and site teams.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of heavy machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and minimize breakdowns and downtime.
- Control fuel consumption, operating costs, and material wastage.
- Ensure product quality and proper stock management.
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and monitor daily production, fuel, equipment, stock,



and dispatch reports.
- Identify operational issues and implement improvements to increase productivity.

Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mining, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in quarry, mining, aggregates, crushing, or heavy-equipment operations.
- Strong knowledge of quarry production and heavy machinery.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage production targets, costs, and manpower effectively.
- Good communication and basic computer/Excel skills.
