About Posha
Posha is building the world's most advanced automated cooking robot — a mechatronic consumer appliance that combines precision hardware engineering with AI to cook real meals, hands-free. We're a fast-moving startup scaling from early adopters to mass market, which means every team member owns a lot and moves fast. If you like building things from scratch and want to be at the center of a hardware + software product that's genuinely changing how people cook, this is your role.
Role Overview
We're looking for a sharp, eager Operations Associate to get hands-on experience across Posha's global supply chain, logistics, and after-sales operations. You'll be based in Bengaluru but will work across time zones — coordinating with teams and vendors in the US, China, and India.
What You'll Own
Global Logistics
- Own end-to-end shipment logistics across China, India, and the US which includes dispatch, tracking, claims, customs docs.
- Source and compare carrier rates per shipment type.
- Troubleshoot delays and compliance issues fast.
- Coordinate outbound shipments for press and internal use.
Field Repairs & After-Sales
- Own repair and replacement ops end-to-end by figuring out right part, right technician, right customer, right time.
- Track every device in the filed: customers, technicians, transit, refurb, warehouse. Log returns through RMA, close loop with R&D; and CX.
Vendor & Fulfillment Ops
- Manage 3PL day-to-day which involves overlooking order punching, tracking, inventory, kitting accuracy.
- Forecast and procure spares and accessories by interacting with suppliers directly. This would involve quote, negotiate, order, verify on arrival to ensure no stock-outs.
- Initiate and verify payments to vendors, 3PLs,
and technicians by maintaining clean records & on-time.
Freelance Technician Network (US)
- Source, pitch, onboard, and manage freelance field technicians across the US by being the primary point of contact
- Build the repair network in the US by having overlap in the US time zone.
Process & SOPs
- Build and refine SOPs for US returns and refurbishment by figuring out patterns, building extremely strong foundations for automations by understanding how multi-cross-functional teams work.
Who You Are
- Background in business, supply chain, engineering, or anything that shows you can think and execute.
- Someone who figures things out — you don't wait to be told twice and you're not afraid to pick up the phone or send the email.
- Comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets — tracking shipments, logging inventory, and verifying payments won't faze you.
- A clear communicator — you can write a coherent email to a freight vendor and follow up when they don't respond.
- Able to commit to at least 3 hours of work daily in US time zones — this is a hard requirement of the role, not an occasional ask.
- Genuinely curious about hardware — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should want to understand how the Posha device works.
- Comfortable in a startup — things move fast, priorities shift, and there's no playbook for everything.
Nice to Have
- Any prior exposure to logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce ops — even through coursework, projects, or part time work.
- Familiarity with international shipping or customs documentation.
- Experience coordinating with vendors or external parties in any capacity.
- Interest in consumer hardware, robotics, or physical products.
- Posha is an equal opportunity employer. We're building a diverse team and encourage applicants from all backgrounds.
