Role Summary
We are looking for a smart, curious and highly dependable operator to join our Company-Building Pod.
You will work closely with founders and senior leadership across DueDash, and a small number of selected ventures, helping turn ideas, conversations and market opportunities into structured commercial execution.
This is not a traditional SDR role and it is not an Administrative Office role.
One day you may be researching how a company could enter a new market. Another day you could be identifying the right decision-maker inside a U.S. law firm, preparing the team for an investor meeting, finding a warm introduction, improving a commercial pipeline or making sure an important follow-up actually happens.
Success in this role means leadership team spend less time researching, chasing and coordinating, and more time having qualified conversations and making decisions.
You will become part of the operating layer underneath that.
Responsibilities
- Research target companies, markets, buyers, decision-makers, investors and strategic partners.
- Build qualified account and investor pipelines based on relevance, not volume.
- Develop a clear hypothesis around why a company, buyer, investor or partner may be relevant.
- Identify relationship paths, mutual connections and potential warm introductions.
- Prepare thoughtful LinkedIn messages, emails, introductions and follow-ups.
- Create concise briefing notes before important founder, client, partner and investor meetings.
- Capture meeting outcomes, commitments, objections, next actions and ownership.
- Keep commercial and investor pipelines accurate and moving.
- Support fundraising operations including investor research, meeting coordination, introductions,
follow-up and diligence tracking.
- Identify patterns across prospect, customer, partner and investor conversations.
- Turn recurring market signals into useful commercial intelligence for founders.
- Coordinate meetings across multiple calendars and stakeholders.
- Use AI, research tools and internal workflows to accelerate research, synthesis, preparation and execution.
- Help improve the Company-Building Pod itself as we learn what works.
A typical assignment might be: “Find U.S. law firms where this product could have a strong entry point.”
The expected output is not a spreadsheet containing hundreds of firms.
We expect you to work out:
Which firms matter → who matters inside them → why they might care → how we could reach them → what we should say → what happens next.
We expect strong candidates to have approximately 3–5 years of professional experience , although capability matters more to us than chronology.
Qualifications
Relevant backgrounds may include:
- CXO’s Office
- Startups
- Strategy consulting
- Venture capital or investment research
- B2B technology
- Business development
- Market intelligence
- Commercial operations
- Corporate strategy
You should be particularly solid in:
Research
You enjoy figuring things out, connecting information and going beyond surface-level searches.
Written communication
You can write clear, natural professional English without sounding like a corporate template or an AI chatbot.
Commercial judgment
You understand the difference between a contact and an opportunity, activity and progress, and an interesting investor and a genuinely relevant one.
Execution
You follow through, keep track of commitments and dislike seeing good opportunities disappear because someone forgot the next step.
AI fluency
You are already comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT for research, synthesis, drafting and analysis, while understanding that AI output still needs judgment and verification.
Ownership
You are comfortable working with incomplete information and do not need a detailed SOP before tackling every new problem.
You will probably enjoy this role if you:
- are naturally curious;
- like understanding companies and people;
- enjoy solving slightly messy problems;
- can move between strategic thinking and detailed execution;
- like experimenting with new tools;
- dislike spam-driven business development;
- are comfortable working closely with founders;
- want responsibility rather than a narrowly defined job;
- are happy saying, “I don’t know yet, but I’ll figure it out.”
This is a remote role and one of the early positions within a broader Company-Building capability we are developing. As the model grows, there should be opportunities to take on greater ownership across GTM, commercial intelligence, investor operations and company-building.
You will not simply inherit the role.
You will help shape it.
Kindly note applications are only accepted via interview link.
