Role Description The Online Web Development Mentor – UK Shift Timing from 8:30 PM - 1:30 AM (5 hours) is a part time remote role focused on teaching web development concepts to students aged 5 to 17. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering live online classes, guiding students through coding exercises and projects, and adapting teaching methods to different age groups and skill levels.

The mentor will provide constructive feedback, answer questions, and support students in debugging and improving their code. Additional tasks include preparing lesson materials, tracking student progress,



and collaborating with the Codeyoung team to enhance the curriculum and learning experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to explain technical concepts clearly to young learners and interact effectively with parents or guardians.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Research abilities to solve coding challenges, stay updated on web development trends, and tailor content to student needs.
- Candidates should possess Training and mentoring skills, with experience in teaching, tutoring, or coaching, preferably in coding or STEM subjects.
- Working knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and conduct sessions aligned with UK shift timings.
- Relevant education or certifications in computer science, information technology, or related fields are beneficial.
