Role & responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architecture using OCI services.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and performance.
- Maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Stay current with the latest OCI services and industry trends.

Preferred candidate profile

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in cloud architecture, design, and deployments.
- Proven expertise with OCI services such as Compute, Object Storage, Autonomous Database/Base Database Service, Functions, VCN, Resource Manager, and IAM.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with a focus on OCI.
- Knowledge of OCI services such as Compute,



Object Storage, Block Volume, Autonomous Database, Functions, VCN, Resource Manager, etc.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like OCI Monitoring, OCI Logging, ELK stack, or Prometheus.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or OCI Resource Manager.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in a cloud environment (VCN, Security Lists, NSGs, IAM Policies).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or OCI DevOps.
- Exposure to similar cloud platforms like AWS will be a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
