With a customer-first mindset and an intentional focus on building strong teams across the nation, we’ve been able to uphold our legacy of financial stability while investing in new, innovative technologies that support the needs of our customers. Our high-performance culture, focused on operational excellence, thrives thanks to remarkable people united by compassion and a customer-first commitment. Are you ready to make a difference?
Job Summary The Observability Engineer (Datadog) plays a central role in consolidating a fragmented monitoring estate onto Datadog as our single observability platform and migrating application performance monitoring off AppDynamics. This role does the engineering that makes that real: instrumenting services, standing up integrations, and building the monitors, dashboards, and service level objectives that teams actually use during an incident.
The work has two phases and you will do both: migration, moving instrumentation and coverage onto Datadog service by service and retiring what it replaces; and platform operations, running Datadog well, keeping the signal clean, controlling what we ingest, and enabling other teams to self-serve.
Our outcome measure is business impact minutes: everything this team builds is judged on whether it helps us detect a problem before a customer does and diagnose it faster once we are on the call. This is a hands-on engineering role, not a monitoring or command center role.
- Ability to work on‑site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role. *
Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru.
While on‑site presence is essential for key engagements, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment. Education Skills and Background You’ll Need

Experience
- 2 to 6 years of experience in Observability, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Datadog in production environments, including dashboards, monitors, alerting, APM, log management, and integrations.

- Experience working in Azure, Linux, or Kubernetes (AKS) environments.
- Basic scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
