Job Title: PAM HashiCorp Onboarding Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners

Working Mode: Hybrid – 3 days from office

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Onboarding Engineer with solid experience in enterprise secrets management, infrastructure automation, and platform operations. The ideal candidate will design, support, and enhance large-scale HashiCorp Vault environments, drive automation through Terraform, and ensure the reliability, security, and resilience of the Vault platform. This role requires expertise in enterprise monitoring, incident management, and stakeholder engagement within globally distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support enterprise HashiCorp Vault environments with a focus on security, scalability, and resilience.
- Manage Vault Secrets Engines, authentication methods, and consumer onboarding activities.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, failed API calls, and service inefficiencies.
- Design and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability solutions using Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, and SCOM.
- Lead major incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and remediation activities.




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability and service availability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and consumers to implement secure solutions.
- Create technical documentation, onboarding guides, and self-service enablement material.
- Support change management activities including out-of-hours deployments and incident support.

Required Experience

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault (on-premises preferred).
- 3+ years of experience using Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Strong understanding of Secrets Management, authentication mechanisms, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience supporting large-scale, globally distributed enterprise platforms.
- Experience with enterprise observability and monitoring tools.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies using Jira and Jira Service Desk.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
