Job Summary

Apple Hospital, a 200-bedded NABH Accredited Multi-Speciality Hospital in Indore, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Nursing Incharge – ICU to lead and manage nursing operations in the Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality patient care, effective staff management, clinical compliance, and adherence to hospital and NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day nursing operations in the ICU.
- Ensure delivery of safe, efficient, and quality patient care.
- Manage nursing staff deployment, duty rosters, and shift responsibilities.
- Monitor nursing procedures, medication administration, and clinical practices.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor patient care and nursing documentation.
- Guide, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Coordinate with doctors, Nursing Administration, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Ensure proper maintenance of ICU records, registers, and documentation.
- Support NABH compliance, audits,



quality improvement initiatives, and training programs.
- Identify training needs and ensure competency development of ICU nursing staff.

Qualifications

- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.

Experience

- 5–8 years of nursing experience, preferably in ICU.
- Prior experience as Nursing Incharge / ICU Incharge will be preferred.
- Experience in a NABH-accredited hospital will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Strong ICU clinical knowledge and nursing management skills.
- Positive leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of NABH standards, infection control, and patient safety practices.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and work effectively under pressure.
