About The Role We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Backend Developer specializing in Node.js and REST API development to join our talented engineering team. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js and REST API creation. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.



Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, with hands-on experience in building and deploying RESTful APIs. Knowledge of modern frameworks like Express.js is essential.

Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB, is required. Familiarity with authentication protocols such as JWT and OAuth, along with a solid understanding of security best practices, is necessary. Robust problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and excellent communication skills are also important for this role.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of tasks including developing and maintaining backend applications using Node.js and Express.js frameworks. They will design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different software components.

Building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services will be a core part of the role, requiring optimization of application performance and database queries. The developer will work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities also include implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, writing clean and maintainable code, performing API testing, debugging,
