About The Role WorldWide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) is seeking a highly experienced Lead / Subject Matter Expert (SME) Network Engineer for a remote, long-term contract position. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and leading complex network solutions within regulated and large enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will act as a technical leader within the delivery team, guiding engineering efforts, ensuring architectural standards are met, and overseeing end-to-end project execution. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on transformational programs, collaborate with global support teams, and contribute to the development of scalable and secure network infrastructures.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of demonstrable experience leading, designing,



and implementing complex network solutions. A proven track record of operating as a Lead Engineer on large, transformational projects is essential.

Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consolidate knowledge from multiple sources into cohesive end-to-end solutions. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels. Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise, FortiGate Professional, or F5 LTM/GTM at the Certified Technical Specialist level are highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Act as a Lead or SME within the complex delivery team, providing technical guidance and leadership on network engineering projects.
- Design, build, and deploy network infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and architectural standards.
- Lead large transformational programs, coordinating efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed low-level design documentation and ensure all designs adhere to current architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with global support teams to facilitate seamless transition of solutions into operational support.
- Maintain compliance with governance, change management,



and risk management policies across all network disciplines.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet project objectives, providing regular updates and escalating issues as necessary.
- Estimate workload and delivery timelines accurately, ensuring project milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, making well-judged decisions to enhance project delivery and mitigate risks.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining high standards of risk management and control.
