About the Role

SipFund.com is looking for a Mutual Fund Advisor who can acquire, advise, and service retail investors. This is a client-facing role — you will be the person investors trust for guidance on where their money goes and why. You should be able to hold a confident, informed conversation about markets, funds, and investment strategy without overwhelming the client with jargon.

What You'll Do

- Acquire new mutual fund clients through phone outreach, inbound leads, and existing customer references
- Understand each client's financial goals, risk appetite, and investment horizon before recommending any product
- Recommend suitable mutual fund schemes — equity, debt, hybrid, SIP, lump sum — based on client profile
- Service existing clients — process transactions, handle queries, and resolve operational issues end to end
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and proactively reach out to clients when rebalancing or action is warranted
- Keep clients informed about market developments, fund performance, and changes in the investment environment
- Stay current on SEBI and AMFI guidelines, market trends, NAV movements, and fund category shifts
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation is KYC and compliance-ready

You Should Have

- Graduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline — mandatory
- NISM Series VA (Mutual Fund Distributors) certification — mandatory; Research Analyst (NISM Series XV) is a strong plus
- 1–4 years of experience advising or servicing mutual fund investors




- Sound understanding of basic investment principles — compounding, asset allocation, risk-return, rupee cost averaging
- Familiarity with the Indian investment environment — equity markets, interest rate cycles, inflation impact on portfolios
- Experience handling investor queries, SIP management, redemptions, and portfolio-level discussions
- Proficiency in spoken and written English — mandatory
- Working knowledge of Kannada — strong advantage for client servicing in Bangalore
