Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in Management Information Systems (MIS), financial reporting and business analysis to support the client's finance function.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing management reports, providing meaningful financial insights, monitoring business performance and supporting management in decision-making through accurate and timely MIS.

Key Responsibilities

1. MIS & Management Reporting

- Prepare and publish periodic MIS reports for management and business stakeholders.
- Develop dashboards and management reports covering revenue, profitability, expenses, working capital and other key business KPIs.
- Analyse business performance against budgets, forecasts and previous periods.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of MIS reports.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources and present it in a clear and management-friendly format.

1. Financial Analysis

- Perform detailed variance analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast/prior periods.
- Identify key business and financial trends and provide actionable insights.
- Analyse revenue, costs, margins, profitability and operating expenses.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and decision-making.

1. Budgeting & Forecasting





- Assist in preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Track budget utilisation and highlight significant deviations.
- Coordinate with business/functional teams for budget inputs and explanations for variances.

1. Data Analysis & Automation

- Develop and improve MIS reporting processes using Advanced Excel.
- Automate repetitive reporting and reconciliation activities wherever possible.
- Work with large datasets and ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA/Macros and/or Power BI will be an advantage.

1. ERP / Finance Data

- Extract and analyse financial and operational data from ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Reconcile MIS with financial/accounting records and investigate significant discrepancies.
- Coordinate with finance and business teams to resolve data/reporting issues.

1. Business Partnering

- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales and other functional teams to understand business performance.
- Present key findings and insights to senior management.
- Translate financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)



with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Robust understanding of financial statements, accounting and financial analysis.
- Excellent command of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, data analysis and dashboard preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and identify trends/errors.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage MIS deliverables and meet tight reporting timelines.
- Exposure to SAP/ERP systems will be preferred.
- Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, VBA/Macros or other reporting/automation tools will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
