Power Platform Engineer

Location : Bengaluru/ Mumbai Hybrid (10 days onsite in a month )

Position Summary The Power Platform Engineer will design, develop, and support business process automation, workflow orchestration, user interfaces, notifications, approvals, and governance capabilities supporting the Independent Price Verification (IPV) modernization program. This role will leverage Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 integrations, to replace manual spreadsheet- and email-driven processes with scalable, secure, and auditable digital solutions. The engineer will collaborate with Business SMEs, Dataiku Engineers, Solution Architects, Data Modelers, and Compliance teams to streamline operations and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

- Design and develop Power Apps solutions that support IPV workflow management, approvals, exception handling, and operational activities.
- Build both Canvas and Model-Driven applications to improve business user productivity.
- Develop reusable application components and standardized UI frameworks.
- Design intuitive user experiences that support front-office, middle-office, and compliance teams.

Workflow Automation

- Build and maintain Power Automate workflows supporting approvals, notifications, escalations, and exception management.
- Automate business processes currently managed through emails, spreadsheets, and manual activities.
- Configure workflow routing, approvals, reminders, and service-level monitoring.
- Develop event-driven automation integrated with enterprise systems and data platforms.

Platform Integration

- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dataiku, PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, Power BI, Azure services, Microsoft 365, and external applications.
- Develop and configure custom connectors and API integrations.
- Support integration of business workflows with valuation, market data, and reporting systems.
- Enable seamless movement of data between Power Platform and the IPV Processing Factory.

Governance & Security

- Implement role-based security and access controls.
- Support workplace strategy across Development, UAT, and Production.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, security,



and governance standards.
- Maintain application lifecycle management (ALM) processes and deployment controls.
- Enforce Power Platform governance policies and best practices.

Reporting & Analytics

- Support operational dashboards and business activity monitoring.
- Enable workflow performance reporting and KPI tracking.
- Work closely with Power BI developers to support end-user reporting needs.
- Develop administrative and governance reporting for platform management.

Testing & Deployment

- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and release planning.
- Execute unit testing and support system integration testing activities.
- Assist with user acceptance testing and business validation.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD deployment automation.
- Maintain technical documentation, support guides, and knowledge transfer materials.

Operational Support

- Monitor production workflows and applications.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and workflow failures.
- Support platform maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Participate in hypercare and ongoing support activities following production releases.

Required Qualifications

- 4+ years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience.
- Strong experience developing Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate workflow development.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of Dataverse architecture and data management.
- Experience implementing security, governance, and environment management.
- Understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting large-scale business transformation programs.
- Financial Services, Energy Trading, or Commodity Risk experience.




- Experience integrating with Dataiku platforms.
- Power BI development exposure.
- Azure integration experience.
- Experience implementing SOX-compliant business applications.
- Familiarity with low-code governance frameworks.

Expected Program Contribution The Power Platform Engineer will serve as the primary builder of the IPV user experience layer, enabling workflow automation, exception processing, approvals, audit tracking, notifications, and business productivity capabilities that connect the Dataiku processing platform, reporting layer, and end users into a unified operational solution. This role is critical to reducing manual effort, improving controls, increasing transparency, and supporting adoption of the future-state IPV operating model.
