Microsoft Practice Head

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Practice Head to lead and grow our Microsoft technology practice. This role will own practice strategy, revenue growth, enterprise pre-sales, solution architecture, delivery oversight, and team development across the Microsoft ecosystem.

The ideal candidate combines strong Microsoft technical expertise with proven consulting, client-facing, and commercial leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the Microsoft practice strategy, revenue, pipeline, utilization, and P&L;
- Define the Microsoft technology roadmap and go-to-market strategy
- Lead enterprise discovery, solution design, proposals, SOWs, and technical presentations
- Build relationships with Microsoft field teams, partners, and enterprise clients
- Provide technical and architectural leadership across Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, AI Search, Copilot, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Microsoft Fabric
- Oversee delivery quality, architecture standards, and client outcomes
- Drive Microsoft co-sell, partner-led opportunities, and relevant Microsoft partner programs
- Build, mentor, and grow Microsoft architects, developers, and functional consultants
- Develop reusable solutions, accelerators, certifications, and internal enablement programs

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in technology services or consulting
- 5+ years of experience leading a Microsoft-focused practice, delivery organization, or consulting portfolio




- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in at least two of the following:

– Azure AI / Azure OpenAI

– Microsoft Fabric / Purview

– Power Platform

– Dynamics 365 Business Central

– Microsoft 365 / Copilot

- Proven experience owning a significant book of business, revenue, pipeline, or P&L;
- Solid enterprise pre-sales and solution architecture experience
- Ability to lead both executive-level business discussions and technical architecture reviews
- Experience working with Microsoft partner programs, co-sell, MCAP, or Solutions Partner designations
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AI-enabled solutions, including RAG architectures, agentic workflows, AI governance, and responsible AI
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Dynamics 365 certifications, or equivalent
- Experience building and scaling a Microsoft consulting practice
- Strong understanding of Microsoft's evolving technology and partner ecosystem

What We're Looking For

This is not a purely functional or project management position. The successful candidate should have strong technical credibility and be comfortable discussing architecture, solution design, and Microsoft technologies with technical teams, while also leading strategy, sales, and executive-level client conversations.

The role does not require day-to-day software development, but candidates should have sufficient hands-on technical experience to guide architecture, evaluate solutions, and challenge technical decisions.
