We are in an active phase of organisational growth — building systems, strengthening our team, and investing in the people and processes that will define the next chapter of Toram. This role is part of that build.

Role Description

We are looking for a Merchandising Manager to own the day-to-day execution of our brand accounts and lead our merchandising team.

Toram currently runs three active brand accounts, each managed by a senior merchandiser. This role exists to sit above that team — to see across all three accounts simultaneously, hold the merchandisers accountable to TNA and quality standards, own buyer communication at the execution level, and ensure that nothing falls through the gap between an order landing and a shipment going out.

Our Managing Director owns the strategic buyer relationship — new orders, quarterly reviews, and account-level commercial decisions. You own everything in between. The daily and weekly execution rhythm that determines whether buyers stay, grow, and reorder is your accountability.

Experience

● 8–12 years in garment or knitwear merchandising, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role managing a team and multiple accounts simultaneously.





● Direct experience with domestic retail brand accounts — Westside, Zudio, Max, Myntra, Clovia, DaMensch, or comparable. You understand how domestic retail buyers operate, what their timelines look like, and how their teams are structured.

● Solid TNA management — you have built TNA calendars, tracked them across concurrent orders, and held your team accountable against them. You know what a missed milestone costs.

● ERP comfort — you are used to working within a system and understand that what is not in the system does not exist.

The kind of person we are looking for

● You manage the function, not just the accounts. You are not the person chasing fabric or writing every buyer email — you are the person who ensures your team does those things correctly and on time.

● You communicate clearly and do not leave room for misunderstanding — with buyers, with the factory, and with your team. You know when to call versus email, and your emails can be forwarded without editing.

● You are comfortable holding difficult buyer conversations — delivering bad news, managing a delay, proposing a solution — without escalating to your manager first.

● You are disciplined about documentation. If you left tomorrow, your team could pick up your accounts from what is in the system.

● You are based in Tirupur or genuinely willing to relocate. This is an on-site role.
