Role Description This is a full-time, on-site MEP Project Manager role based in Bengaluru South. The MEP Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for interior fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with design standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include managing project schedules, budgets, and resources; reviewing drawings and submittals; coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors; and monitoring work progress to meet quality and timelines. The role involves conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, supporting procurement decisions, and maintaining accurate project documentation.
The MEP Project Manager will also mentor site teams, drive adherence to ISO and safety practices, and support handover activities with clear reporting and communication to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) expertise, including hands-on experience with plumbing systems and coordination of multidisciplinary building services.
- Proficiency in Project Management and Budgeting, with the ability to plan, track, and optimize timelines, costs, and resources across multiple projects.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and managing technical Submittals, drawings, and documentation in alignment with client, consultant, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline; professional certifications in project management or MEP design are an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety standards, and ISO-based quality practices, ideally gained in commercial interior fit-out or construction projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead site teams and coordinate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project scheduling tools; exposure to CAD or BIM software is beneficial.
