Fashion Merchandiser – Pink City Prints

Location: Civil Lines, Jaipur

Full-time, office based

Pink City Prints is a British womenswear brand with our design and production office based in Civil Lines, Jaipur. We specialise in beautifully printed and embroidered womenswear, working closely with factories, printers, embroiderers and artisans across India.

We are looking for an experienced Fashion Merchandiser to join our Jaipur team.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing styles from sampling through to final production, making sure everything is delivered on time, at the correct quality and at the agreed price.

Your responsibilities will include

Managing production orders from sampling through to shipment

Following up daily with factories and suppliers

Creating and maintaining production time and action calendars

Monitoring fabric, printing, embroidery, trims and garment production

Checking samples and making sure comments and corrections are followed

Coordinating with our design and UK teams

Negotiating prices and checking costing sheets

Tracking purchase orders and delivery dates

Identifying production delays early and finding solutions

Ensuring factories meet Pink City Prints' quality standards

Keeping clear and accurate production records and reports

Helping source new suppliers, fabrics, trims and production options when required





About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous merchandising experience within women's fashion / garment production

Has excellent knowledge of garment construction and production

Understands printing, embroidery, fabrics and garment finishing

Is highly organised and very robust at follow-up

Is confident dealing directly with factories and suppliers

Can negotiate prices and understand garment costing

Has strong Excel and computer skills

Has good written and spoken English

Is comfortable working in a fast-moving international fashion business

Takes responsibility and solves problems rather than waiting to be told what to do

Experience working with export houses or international fashion brands would be a strong advantage.
