Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Professor in Dermatology based in Madurai. The Professor will provide outpatient and inpatient dermatology care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. Daily responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, delivering lectures and clinical demonstrations, supervising ward rounds and outpatient clinics,



and mentoring junior faculty and residents. The role involves overseeing academic activities, guiding thesis and research projects, participating in departmental meetings, and contributing to curriculum development. The Professor is also expected to engage in clinical research, maintain accurate medical documentation, adhere to institutional policies and national guidelines, and support quality improvement and community outreach programs.
Qualifications
Recognized MBBS degree and MD/DNB in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy (or equivalent), with eligibility as Professor as per applicable regulatory norms.
Substantial teaching experience in dermatology at a recognized medical college, including classroom, bedside, and skill-based teaching.
Strong clinical expertise in general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, dermatologic emergencies, and management of common venereal and leprosy conditi
