Job Summary:
GD Goenka Public School is seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to teach vocal and/or instrumental music to students as per CBSE curriculum guidelines. The teacher will be responsible for nurturing students’ musical abilities and actively contributing to school cultural activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach music (vocal and/or instrumental) to students across assigned classes.




Plan and deliver engaging music lessons appropriate to students’ age and skill levels
Prepare students for school assemblies, annual functions, competitions, and cultural events
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning setting
Assess students’ performance and provide constructive feedback
Maintain records related to lesson plans, attendance, and assessments
Coordinate with class teachers and school management when required
Ensure proper care and use of musical instruments and resources

Eligibility & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Music (Vocal/Instrumental) from a recognized university
OR:
Prabhakar / Visharad / Sangeet Alankar or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
B.Ed. is preferred (as per CBSE guidelines)
Proficiency in vocal music and/or at least one musical instrument
Basic knowledge of child psychology and classroom management.
