An MIS executive’s goal is to make sure that the company’s IT infrastructure is always functional. The role of an MIS executive is to support the effective running of the business by providing information on data at various levels so that decisions can be made to ensure that the organisation stays profitable and competitive. They oversee the administration and maintenance of information hubs, document servers, intranets, and extranets in addition to handling data storage. Furthermore, they ensure the effective completion of all system objectives and work with vendors to coordinate and establish connections.
