Education:
Minimum 15 years of regular, full time education (10 + 2 + 3)
Non-technical graduation in finance & accounts stream
B.Com, M.Com or similar
Must Have:
Processing Billing, Intercompany Billing, Cash Application and Month close activities
Valuable-to-Have:
End to end AR knowledge, Month close activities, Process automations
Process specific responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable Processing
Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time
Update customer accounts and maintain AR sub-ledger
Assist in customer account reconciliations
Collections Support
Support collection activities by following up on overdue invoices
Send payment reminders and statements to customers
Track and update collection status in systems
Dispute & Query Handling
Log customer disputes and billing queries




Coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies
Update dispute trackers and maintain documentation
Reporting & Controls
Prepare basic AR reports such as aging, unapplied cash, and pending disputes
Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and company policies
Maintain audit-ready documentation
Process Adherence & Improvement
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
Meet SLA, productivity, and accuracy targets
Identify and highlight process gaps or improvement prospects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of Accounts Receivable / Order to Cash process
Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / NetSuite preferred)
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting
