As a result, Annova Solutions supports healthcare organizations in achieving optimized risk scores and improved documentation quality, creating a strong environment for learning and professional growth for medical coding trainees.Role Description The Medical Coder Trainee role at Annova Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The trainee will review medical records and clinical documentation under supervision to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes in accordance with coding guidelines and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include learning and applying HCC coding principles, assisting in documentation clarification, and supporting accurate capture of risk-adjustable conditions.





The role involves collaborating with senior coders and clinical documentation specialists, participating in training sessions, and meeting quality and productivity targets. The trainee will also help maintain data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements while developing core skills for advancement in medical coding.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational Medical Coding and Coding Experience, even at a trainee or internship level.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management principles.
- Candidates should possess or be working toward credentials such as RHIT or similar health information certification.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret clinical documentation accurately.
- Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- A diploma or degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
- Willingness to learn HCC and risk adjustment models, and openness to continuous training and performance feedback, will be beneficial.
