Role Description: The Mechanical Supervisor will oversee day-to-day mechanical operations, including supervision of maintenance activities, Boiler Shutdown, and coordination of preventive maintenance schedules. This role will involve monitoring boiler and associated mechanical systems, guiding maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and reporting on equipment performance and issues. The supervisor will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and management to plan maintenance shutdowns, resolve mechanical problems, and optimise equipment reliability.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Porbandar,



with primary work at the site and some work-from-home flexibility for planning, documentation, and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and on-site coordination.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Planning to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance Management and Maintenance execution, including documentation, scheduling, and resource management.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Inspection and general Maintenance of mechanical and boiler-related equipment.
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in boiler, heavy fabrication, or industrial plant maintenance is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance in industrial environments.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use basic maintenance tools, and prepare clear reports.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
