Role Description This is a full time, on-site Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer role based in the Pune District.

The Mechanical Manufacturing

Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for specialized bridge construction equipment, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality. Day-to-day activities include designing and reviewing mechanical components, preparing and updating manufacturing drawings, and collaborating with design, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues on the shop floor.



The role involves overseeing machining operations, supporting prototype development, implementing process improvements, and monitoring production performance. The engineer will also coordinate with suppliers, maintain documentation, and ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with relevant standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with demonstrated expertise in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Practical knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, including fabrication, assembly, and production workflow optimization.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying mechanical models and production drawings.
- Hands-on understanding of Machining processes, tolerances, and material behavior in a production environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in heavy equipment or construction-related manufacturing is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards, and to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
