Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC Plasma Cutting Machines for cutting steel plates and sections.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and cutting plans.
Set machine parameters and ensure accurate dimensions and cutting quality.
Load and unload raw materials using appropriate handling methods.
Monitor machine performance and carry out routine maintenance activities.
Inspect finished components and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Minimize material wastage and optimize plate utilization.
Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to meet daily targets.
Maintain records of production and machine operations.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Plasma Cutting Operator,
preferably in the PEB or structural steel fabrication industry.
Knowledge of CNC Plasma Cutting Machines and nesting software.
Ability to read fabrication and engineering drawings.
Understanding of measuring instruments and quality checks.
Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and material handling.
Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Relevant experience in structural steel or PEB manufacturing will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
