Key Responsibilities:DP Coordination:
Lead and manage the overall implementation of the IB Diploma Programme
Ensure compliance with IB standards, policies, and assessment requirements
Mentor and support DP faculty in curriculum planning and effective pedagogical practices
Coordinate IB evaluations, documentation, and academic processes
Monitor student progress, academic performance, and university readiness
Facilitate collaboration among teachers, parents, and school leadership
IBDP Biology Teaching:
Deliver engaging and inquiry-based Biology lessons for DP students
Prepare students for internal assessments and IB external examinations
Conduct laboratory sessions and support research-based learning
Integrate TOK, Extended Essay,
and interdisciplinary approaches where applicable
Maintain academic records, assessments, and student progress reports
Participate actively in curriculum development and school initiatives
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Biology/Life Sciences with B.Ed. preferred
Minimum 5+ years of IBDP teaching experience with DP coordination exposure
Solid understanding of IB philosophy, curriculum, and assessment practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage both academic leadership and classroom teaching responsibilities effectively
