Job Summary

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for teaching CBSE Mathematics to students of Grades 10, 11, and 12, ensuring robust conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and excellent board examination preparation. The teacher will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and support students in achieving academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Instruction
Teach Mathematics according to the CBSE curriculum for Grades 10, 11, and 12.
Prepare annual, monthly, and daily lesson plans.
Explain mathematical concepts clearly using practical and analytical approaches.
Conduct interactive classroom sessions to improve student engagement.
Use technology, smart boards, and digital learning tools effectively.
Academic Planning
Complete syllabus within prescribed timelines.
Prepare worksheets, assignments, question papers, and study materials.




Plan revision schedules and examination strategies for board classes.
Conduct remedial and enrichment classes based on student performance.
Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct periodic tests, unit tests, pre-board exams, and assessments.
Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
Analyze student performance and maintain academic records.
Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and competitive exams where applicable.
Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and a positive classroom workplace.
Encourage logical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
Support students academically and emotionally when required.
Parent & School Communication
Communicate student progress regularly with parents.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and academic review sessions.
Collaborate with other faculty members and school leadership.
