Key Responsibilities:
Develop and improve welding procedures for manufacturing and construction projects.
Select appropriate welding methods, materials, and equipment based on project needs.
Ensure compliance with welding codes, standards (such as AWS, ASME, ISO), and safety regulations.
Conduct welding inspections, testing, and quality control measures.
Troubleshoot welding defects and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to enhance weld performance.
Train and guide welders on best practices and current welding technologies.
Skills & Qualifications:
Robust knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, ).
Proficiency in welding inspection techniques (NDT methods like ultrasonic, radiographic, and dye penetrant testing).
Familiarity with CAD software and engineering drawings.
Problem-solving and analytical skills to address welding-related challenges.
Certifications such as Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) are a plus.
