We are looking for an experienced Mechanic with good electrical skills to handle the repair, servicing, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of construction machinery, equipment and power tools used across our project sites.

The candidate should be practically skilled, capable of independently identifying mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out repairs on-site, and ensuring that equipment remains protected and operational with minimum downtime.

Equipment Experience Required The candidate must, at a minimum, be capable of servicing, troubleshooting and repairing:

Concrete vibrators and vibrator needles

Drilling machines

Breaker / demolition machines

Steel cutting machines

Construction hoists

Concrete / mortar mixer machines

Pressure pumps

5 HP and 10 HP pumps

2 HP and 3 HP submersible pumps

Other construction machinery, power tools and site equipment

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in construction equipment.

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance at project sites.

Repair and maintain electric motors, pumps, power tools and associated equipment.

Check and troubleshoot electrical connections, switches, cables, contactors, capacitors, starters and other basic electrical components.





Perform routine servicing, lubrication, replacement of worn parts and equipment adjustments.

Attend equipment breakdowns promptly and minimize site downtime.

Maintain equipment in safe working condition and identify equipment requiring major repair or replacement.

Maintain basic records of repairs, servicing and spare parts used.

Coordinate with site engineers, store personnel and equipment operators.

Support maintenance of other construction equipment as required.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic / maintenance technician, preferably in the building construction industry.

Strong practical knowledge of construction equipment and power tools.

Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills are mandatory.

Ability to work independently and diagnose faults systematically.

Experience with pumps, electric motors and construction machinery is essential.

Basic knowledge of electrical safety and equipment safety.

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter, Electrician or related trade preferred.

Willingness to travel between different project sites within Mangalore as required.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates who have previously worked as Construction Equipment Mechanic, Site Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Maintenance Technician or Mechanic-cum-Electrician with a building contractor or construction company will be preferred.
