- Identify and develop new Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs) across assigned markets.
- Acquire new retailers and expand the companys MBO customer base.
- Visit potential outlets and present product collections, pricing and business opportunities.
- Develop a strong pipeline of prospective MBO customers.
- Convert prospects into regular business accounts.
1. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Drive primary and secondary sales through MBO channels.
- Develop territory-wise sales plans and execute them effectively.
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective action where required.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales from existing MBO customers.
1. Retailer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with MBO owners and purchase teams.
- Understand retailer requirements, product preferences and market trends.
- Ensure regular visits and follow-ups with key customers.
- Develop long-term business relationships and improve customer retention.
- Handle customer queries and commercial negotiations professionally.
1. Market Development
- Identify new markets, retail clusters and potential MBO locations.
- Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, schemes and market activities.
- Provide market feedback to the Sales Head and management.
- Support expansion into recent territories.
1. Order & Collection Management
- Generate orders from MBO customers and ensure timely order processing.
- Follow up on pending orders, deliveries and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams for stock availability and order fulfilment.
- Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with customers for timely collections.
- Ensure healthy business and payment discipline across the assigned customer base.
1. Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Operations, Merchandising and Accounts teams.
- Ensure timely availability and delivery of products.
- Communicate market requirements and customer feedback to the management.
- Support product planning based on market demand.
1. Sales Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, leads, orders and collections.
- Submit regular sales and market reports to the Sales Head.
- Track territory-wise and customer-wise sales performance.
- Maintain an updated customer database and sales pipeline.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline is required.
- A degree in BBA, B.Com, Business Management, Marketing or Sales will be preferred.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in MBO Sales, Retail Sales, Channel Sales, Distribution Sales or Apparel Sales.
- Candidates with experience in the men’s apparel/garment industry will be preferred.
