Role Title: Special Educator - Specially Abled Children

About the Role

We’re looking for a compassionate, trained Special Educator to support children with diverse learning needs in an inclusive preschool setting. You’ll design and deliver individualized learning plans, work closely with parents and classroom teachers, and help every child build confidence, independence, and foundational skills.

Key Responsibilities
Assess learning needs and create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each child.
Conduct one-on-one and small group sessions using play-based, multisensory teaching methods.
Adapt curriculum and classroom activities to match each child’s pace and learning style.
Track progress regularly and maintain explicit documentation of goals, interventions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with mainstream teachers to ensure smooth inclusion in regular classroom activities.




Guide parents with home-based strategies and maintain open, supportive communication.
Work with therapists and external specialists when required for holistic support.

Qualifications & Experience
Must Have: Diploma/Degree in Special Education (B.Ed Spl. Ed, D.Ed Spl. Ed, or equivalent) with specialization in Intellectual Disability / Autism Spectrum Disorder / Learning Disability / Multiple Disabilities.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on teaching experience with specially abled children.
RCI registration preferred.

Skills We’re Looking For
Patience, empathy, and robust communication skills.
Knowledge of ABA, sensory integration, and activity-based learning techniques.
Ability to design fun, engaging, and age-appropriate learning activities.
Team player who can work closely with teachers and parents.
Basic documentation and reporting skills.
