Role description

Working closely with Software Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Data Teams, and Security stakeholders, you will help transform development workflows into production-ready automated solutions while ensuring enterprise standards for security, availability, performance, compliance, and cost optimization.

This is a contract role within a distributed Agile workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as:
Terraform
AWS CDK
CloudFormation
Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:
GitHub Actions
Jenkins
GitLab CI/CD
Azure DevOps (or similar)
Docker
Amazon ECS
Amazon EKS
Kubernetes
Implement observability solutions using:
Amazon CloudWatch
Prometheus
Grafana
ELK / OpenSearch
Automate platform operations and cloud resource lifecycle management.
Improve deployment reliability, release automation, and platform performance.




Implement enterprise security best practices including:
IAM
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Secrets Management
Encryption
Security Monitoring
Support AI/ML platform deployments, APIs, data pipelines, and model-serving infrastructure.
Optimize cloud costs through:
Resource monitoring
Capacity planning
Tagging strategy
FinOps practices
Participate in:
Incident response
Root cause analysis
Disaster recovery planning
Platform resiliency improvements
Maintain technical documentation and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
