1. Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Marketing Manager to build and lead the marketing function for our new 110-bed multispecialty hospital in Tura. This is a greenfield project, and the incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing the comprehensive marketing strategy from the ground up. This strategic role requires a results-driven qualified who will establish the hospital's brand identity, drive patient acquisition, build referral networks, and position A Care Hospital as the healthcare provider of choice in the Garo Hills region and beyond.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of healthcare marketing, understand the unique demographics and healthcare-seeking behavior of the local population, and be passionate about creating impactful campaigns that communicate our commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic Marketing Planning & Brand Building:
- Develop and execute the annual marketing plan and budget aligned with the hospital's strategic goals.
- Establish and maintain the hospital's brand identity, positioning, and key messaging across all touchpoints.
- Conduct market research to understand patient needs, competitor landscape, and market opportunities.
- Build and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation and ROI.
B. Digital Marketing & Online Presence:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy including SEO/SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Manage the hospital website, ensuring it is informative, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions.
- Oversee online reputation management and patient review platforms.
- Utilize digital analytics to track performance and optimize campaigns.

Traditional Marketing & Community Outreach:
- Plan and execute offline marketing activities including print advertising, radio, hoardings, and community events.
- Develop strong relationships with local physicians, clinics, and community leaders to build a robust referral network.
- Organize health camps, seminars, and wellness workshops to enhance community engagement and brand visibility.
- Manage the creation of all marketing collaterals, both print and digital.
D. Corporate Partnerships & Business Development:
- Identify and develop partnerships with corporate entities, government agencies, and insurance providers.
- Create tailored packages for corporate health check-ups and institutional tie-ups.
- Work closely with the clinical teams to promote specialized services and new medical technologies.
E. Internal Marketing & Patient Experience:
- Develop internal marketing initiatives to ensure staff are aligned with the hospital's brand values.
- Collaborate with the quality team to enhance patient experience, which serves as a key marketing tool.
- Create patient communication materials and ensure consistent messaging at all patient touchpoints.
F. Consultants identification · The Marketing Manager is responsible for identifying consultant & registrars and bringing them onboard.
3. Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 10 - 15 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a healthcare/hospital marketing leadership role.
- Preferably from North-East
- Non-Negotiable Experience:
- Proven track record of successfully launching and building a healthcare brand in a new market.
- Extensive experience in both digital and traditional healthcare marketing strategies.
- Demonstrable experience in building and managing physician referral networks.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape in Northeast India (preferred).
4. Competencies and Skills
- Strategic Thinker with Creative Execution: Ability to develop high-level strategies while ensuring flawless execution of marketing campaigns.
- Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders including doctors, patients, and corporate partners.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and web analytics.
- Strong Relationship Building Skills: Ability to establish and maintain strong professional networks.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze marketing metrics and optimize campaigns for better ROI.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of local culture and customs to tailor marketing messages appropriately.
- Leadership & Team Management: Ability to build, lead, and motivate a marketing team.
