Company Description Kroodl is a hyperlocal social discovery app designed to help people connect with others within 500 meters based on shared interests, hobbies, and real-time availability. The platform turns everyday places into opportunities for coffee meetups, workout sessions, and casual hangouts. In contrast to traditional social media, Kroodl focuses on authenticity and in-person interactions rather than likes, followers, or swipes.

Role Description The Campus Growth Intern will support Kroodl’s growth by creating awareness about the app within their college or university and ensuring that students actively use the platform.

Key responsibilities include bringing a minimum of 90 genuine downloads per month (3 per day) during the 3-month internship, promoting Kroodl through personal outreach and networking, and encouraging students to register and actively engage with the app. The intern will also team up with other Kroodl interns to organize activities, games, meetups, and promotional campaigns on campus. The role involves building an active student community, gathering user feedback,



and tracking basic growth and engagement metrics.

This is a campus-based internship, with the intern primarily working at the college or university where they study. Solid performers may be offered a full-time position with Kroodl after completing the internship.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills for clear writing, speaking, and engaging with students and team members.
- Ability to perform Market Research to understand student needs, trends, and opportunities for campus growth.
- Basic understanding of Marketing Strategy to support awareness and user acquisition activities.
- Interest or experience in Sales and Customer Service to engage users, encourage app usage, and respond to queries.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with a proactive and learning-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Genuine interest in community building, social apps, and fostering meaningful real-world connections.
