Roles and Responsibilities :

- Oversee the overall production planning, coordination, and control of plastic injection molding processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

- Manage plant operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control to meet customer demands.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

- Lead the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, encompassing Plastic Injection Molding, Vacuum Metallizing, Painting, and Final Assembly (mirrors and lighting modules)

- Drive production efficiency by optimizing cycle times, reducing scrap (rejection rates), and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

- Work closely with the NPI (New Product Introduction) and R&D; teams to seamlessly transfer new mirror and lighting designs into mass production using APQP and PPAP frameworks.





- Ensure the plant maintains strict adherence to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Job Requirements :

- 15-20 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or related field.

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Plastics, or Polymer Engineering. A Master’s degree or MBA in Operations Management is highly preferred.

- Robust knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, including design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.

- Proven track record in managing large-scale industrial operations with multiple shifts.

- Extensive experience working with Tier-1 automotive suppliers in the mirror or exterior lighting domains.

- Strong knowledge of Surface Treatments (Vacuum Metallizing, painting, hard coating).

- Hands-on experience with automotive quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
