Job SummaryThe CAPEX Procurement role is responsible for managing the procurement of capital goods, equipment, and large-scale projects. This includes vendor identification, contract negotiation, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with project requirements and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities• Manage end-to-end procurement of capital expenditure (CAPEX) items such as machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering, project, and finance teams to understand technical and commercial requirements.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for large-scale projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluations, and techno-commercial negotiations.
- Ensure cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery of procured items.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Track project procurement budgets and control CAPEX spend.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Mitigate risks related to supply chain, pricing, and project delays.
