Role: Manager – Indirect Tax

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax professional to manage GST compliance, litigation, advisory, and tax governance activities while supporting business stakeholders on indirect tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage GST and other indirect tax compliances, including return filings, reconciliations, and statutory reporting.
- Handle GST notices, audits, assessments, appeals, and representations before tax authorities.
- Provide GST advisory on business transactions, contracts, and new business initiatives.
- Review Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility, GST refunds, and compliance positions.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants on indirect tax matters.
- Drive tax process improvement, automation initiatives, and compliance risk management.




- Ensure robust tax documentation, governance, and internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
- 6-10 years of experience in Indirect Taxation with strong exposure to GST.
- Proven experience in GST compliance, litigation, assessments, audits, and advisory.
- Strong understanding of Input Tax Credit (ITC), GST refunds, and indirect tax regulations.
- Experience in handling tax authorities, audits, assessments, and appeals.
- Good understanding of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and tax automation tools.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
