Job Description -

A passionate product designer to join the Client’s team and develop various current products and visual merchandising for customers. They will work alongside a team of engineers and other professionals to design products to specifications and deliver them on time. The Product Designer's responsibilities include doing thorough market research to determine customer needs and preferences and using rough sketches as well as design software for detailed drawings.

To be successful as a product designer, you should have a keen eye for detail and color, and a valuable knowledge of existing markets, as well as stellar communication skills. A top Product Designer should be able to identify market needs and have the vision to design products that satisfy them.

Responsibilities -
Conducting market research to determine gaps in the market.
Translating research into feasible ideas and designs that will satisfy consumers.
Clearly outlining specifications for the design team and stakeholders.
Collaborating with the design team,



and providing helpful feedback on processes.
Engaging audiences and using sketches, blueprints, and prototypes to gather feedback.
Using 3D modeling software for detailed designs.
Producing prototypes and models to test functionality.
Researching tools, materials and relevant design techniques.
Suggest improvements to design and performance to product engineers
Employ design concepts into functional prototypes
Perform research on product technologies and structures to implement into design concepts
Maintain up to date on current industry trends and market conditions
Coordinate with designers to ensure accurate communication and efficiency in the design phase
Modify and revise existing designs to meet customer expectations
Able to create mood boards and have robust sourcing / material knowledge
